Last week, former CIA analyst and Soviet propaganda expert Stella Morabito joined C-Fam for a summit on the profound, insidious dangers of mass isolation. She described large-scale isolation as a means used by totalitarian governments, like that of the Soviet Union, “to keep people silent.” The “greatest tool at their disposal,” she added, “is that threat of being socially isolated,” in addition to controlling people’s personal relationships.
Morabito compared COVID lockdown measures to the social separation tactics used in the USSR, telling C-Fam president Arthur Ruse that lockdowns effectively consign everyone to “kind of a vault.” While authorities and certain media outlets cite “public health” to justify serious infringements of essential liberties, they may be seeking to “disguise their power mongering,” she continued. Decision-makers could simply “use that sentiment to cover up a totalitarian agenda.”
In fact, in June, the World Economic Forum, together with the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, and multiple top multinational companies, announced the socialistic, undemocratic “Great Reset” program. As the head of the World Economic Forum explained, “The Great Reset will require us to integrate all stakeholders of global society into a community of common interest, purpose, and action.” “Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” he demanded.
The United Kingdom’s Prince Charles, co-leader of the Great Reset, highlighted COVID-related suffering as an essential tool for the Great Reset: “We have a golden opportunity to seize something good from this crisis — its unprecedented shockwaves may well make people more receptive to big visions of change,” he said.
Morabito also discussed how harsh COVID policies only amplify the impact of a culture of political correctness “designed to induce self-censorship.” In an “era of social isolation when people respond by self censorship all they are doing is creating more isolation,” she noted.
She spoke to the effects of identity politics as well, which, like isolation policies, can be “designed to destabilized individual identity.” Remarking on the massive push for transgenderism by the mainstream media, Morabito said that identity politics “says: ‘You’re not really a unique human being in your own right.” It works by allowing someone else to “assign you an identity… based on your sexuality,” and “groups you belong to,” she said. Again mirroring social isolation, identity politics, is a type of “emotional terrorism,” in addition to acting as “virtual solitary confinement,” in Morabito’s words.
Independent analyses have confirmed the damage of COVID lockdowns. The day before the C-Fam summit, the Associated Press released a report stating that “excess deaths” beyond the normal rate of fatalities in nursing homes could total more than 40,000 since March. Earlier this month, an investigation by the British government revealed that the number of babies that were killed or harmed in the UK rose 20% during the first COVID lockdown in the spring. The Great Barrington Declaration, a statement condemning the “damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies,” has garnered over 50,000 signatures from medical professionals.
Citizens concerned about their and their families’ futures should take into account the other side of expert opinion on COVID when deciding what to do during this highly debatable “fall surge.”
