There are pro-life celebrities who are not afraid to speak their mind and when they do they often get overlooked or criticized. Recently, African American pro-life rapper Nick Cannon shared his views on Hillary Clinton and Planned Parenthood. “Hillary was, think about all of the things they did with Planned Parenthood and all of that type of stuff. That type of stuff is to take our community, and forget gentrification, it’s real genocide, and it’s been like that for years. This system is not built for us. This is not our land. I appreciate it, I love it, wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, but this wasn’t designed for our people.” Like so many others, he realizes that Planned Parenthood targets the African American continuity. Most of their facilities are in minority areas and they are the leading cause for death for the African American community.

In 2005, Nick Cannon released a pro-life song titled Can I Life? The video is extremely pro-life and it in Nick Cannon takes the voice of the unborn child in his mother’s womb. Most of the video takes place in an abortion clinic and he frequently asks his mother the very important question of asking for his life. Nick said that he always strives to speak the truth no matter what. He goes on to say “I come from a long line of community leaders and I’ve always thought that to who much is given, you’re responsible for that, much is required,” he said, referring to Luke 12:48. “So I use my platform to tell the truth at the end of the day.” Check out his music video below.
