“Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.” -Albert Einstein

“Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” -Winston Churchill

These are important quotes to me because I have been shaped by some of my biggest failures and disappointments. I have learned that you can grow the most in through tough times. When you experience disappointment, your next move is a hugely defining moment in your life. People will try to keep you down with negativity, but if you can rise you will succeed in life. Rising after a disappointment or failure is a huge act of bravery. I want to always move forward in bravery and rise from my failures.

When all else fails, turn to the…kids?

The new trend in politics is to put youth at the forefront of important decisions. As part of America’s youth, I’m begging you, stop putting us in charge! Some member states of the UN are pulling a new stunt where they bring youth ambassadors to speak on behalf of their country. I had the privilege […]

When did valuing family become a ridiculous joke?

In a High-Level Political Forum event in the UN this week on renewable energy, there was an alarming comment made. It occurred when the topic of clean cooking fuels for women came up. Violently Killed two people… barely charged for one murder: This is abortion.

Jamie Lee Morales was turned away by Planned Parenthood and another clinic in Queens before she went to Dr. Rho for a late term abortion [1]. Nobody would take her because she was past the legal 24-week limit to get an abortion in the state of New York [4]. However, Dr. Rho performed the late […]

The MTV awards bring a lot of news headlines, but never ones I wanted to hear about until Chris Pratt took the stage this year to receive his Generation Award and gave a speech that rocked the pop-culture norms [1]. Pratt delivered a thank your speech he entitled “Nine rules from Chris Pratt” in which […]

Dinesh D’Souza is an Indian Immigrant to America who attended Dartmouth and went on to become a New York Times best selling author, political commentator, and filmmaker of some of the highest grossing political documentary films in the U.S. [1] You’ve probably heard his name recently, but perhaps not for any of these important reasons. This week the Supreme Court ruled in favor of American rights, specifically Jack Phillips rights as the owner of Masterpiece cakeshop.
